The first posters for Ridley Scott's Exodus: Gods and Kings, ahead of today’s trailer.

Um, no.

No. No. No.

Absolutely not.

Christian Bale can NOT be Moses. Christian Bale is whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite.

Looks like Ridley Scott followed the 1950s casting choices of The Ten Commandments.

So progressive! Look how far we’ve come.  White people are still the default in Ancient Egypt. Not only do the play the Hebrews, the also play the pre-Ptolemaic Egyptians.  Who cares about ~~historical accuracy~~???

So um…who’s playing Moses’ Sudanese Sub Saharan nomadic wife?

Oh, it gets better.  Apparently, a white woman from Spain is playing Zipporah, Moses’ wife.

I’m telling you. Ridley Scott watched The Ten Commandments and said “This looks perfect.  No need to cast this movie ~accurately~”.

this shit looks like a projection of white feelings inadequacy through space and time.

All i’m gonna say is boycott this movie its the only way to send a message.

"Are you gonna say anything?"

This new image of the reflection nebula Messier 78 was captured using the Wide Field Imager camera on the MPG/ESO 2.2-metre telescope at the La Silla Observatory, Chile. This colour picture was created from many monochrome exposures taken through blue, yellow/green and red filters, supplemented by exposures through a filter that isolates light from glowing hydrogen gas. The total exposure times were 9, 9, 17.5 and 15.5 minutes per filter, respectively.

"The water is alive. Once you dive in, it will immediately bare its fangs and attack. But, there’s nothing to fear. Don’t resist the water. Thrust your fingers into the surface and carve an opening. Then you slide your body through that opening. Moving your arms, your head, your chest…"

We met at the wrong time. That’s what I keep telling myself anyway. Maybe one day years from now, we’ll meet in a coffee shop in a far away city somewhere and we could give it another shot.
